Excellent news for Farnsfield Patients:

Due to the massive popularity of the drop in blood clinic at Crown Medical Centre, we have decided to host a once a week drop in clinic at Farnsfield Surgery, this is great news as it eliminates the wait for an appointment.

This will commence every Tuesday from 9:30am to 12:30pm starting from Tuesday the 5th June.

Hello everybody, A few things.

One-way system - The car park at Crown Medical Centre operates a one-way system in the car park indicated by the signage on entering the car-park. Can all patients please ensure that they follow the one-way system to avoid incidents occurring by failing to do so. Sherwood Medical Partnership can not be held responsible for any loss or injury sustained as a result of failure to follow the one-way system. Thank you.

PPG Awareness week is 4th to 8t...h June 2018 - If you would like to learn more about our PPG or becoming a member please visit our website at or ask at reception.

Carer's week 11th to 15th June 2018 - Are you a carer or do you have a carer? If you would like to know more about what support is available for carer's please call into the surgery during carer's week where we will have stands in place to assist you further. Alternatively please ask at reception to speak with our Carer's champion

 We wish to let you know that the drop in blood clinic at Crown Medical Centre will be running from 9:15am to 11:30am this Friday the 11th May.
Also there will be a delayed start to Tuesday the 22nd May starting at 9:15am
24th there will be no clinic due to staff training

Welcome new Clinicians!

Hello everybody, we are pleased to welcome new staff to the surgery, Sheryl Homes who is a Practice nurse and Claire Towers who is our Health Care Assistant. This will obviously help with more appointments which is great news.

Welcome new Practice Manager!

We are extremely happy to announce we have new a Practice manager at the surgery, Michelle Barksby is our new practice manager, Michelle has a wealth of experience having worked for Surgeries in the past and also the local medical council, also joining us as operations manager is Lorna English, Lorna has previously worked in medical practice and is ready to lead the team from the Crown Medical Centre site.

Extended access / Extra Appointments


 As from the first of December the surgery is involved with the CCG and other surgeries within the locality in providing some appointments between 6:30pm and 8pm, these are bookable two days in advance and are for our patients but also several other surgeries. You will be unable to contact the surgery by phone after 6pm. Sherwood Medical Partnership will be providing appointments every Wednesday and Thursday also with alternate Fridays, The other surgery that you will have access to will be Abbey Medical at Blidworth on Monday, Tuesday and Alternate Fridays. If you require one of these appointments you will need to phone your own surgery to book them, these will not be available online to book, please be mindful that we are operating this service along with other surgeries in the locality so you may be seen by other clinicians, there will be Nurse and GP appointments available’

 *disclaimer, this is a Monday to Friday service however there are certain criteria to be met to book these appointments but you will be advised by your receptionist if it is appropriate for an evening appointment.

Due to our collection times for the hospital we are no longer able to accept urine samples after 2.30 pm
